After analyzing our position recently, we realized that we are just like most people trying to do this thing called music - In it for the love!

The more we thought about it, the more obvious it became. We need to join together with other people like us, who want to 'make things happen' for us all.

In our humble opinion, there is no point trying to emulate the format that has been used to 'break through' in the past, it has been proven for many years that the top end of the dance scene is well and truly sewn up with only a 'select few' making it through to some kind of success in the conventional sense. 

So what about the rest of us? 

We've all tried standing alone, ready to be the next big thing. But without the backing of a big label where does that leave us?

Out in the cold and out of the limelight for the most part. That in itself feeds into the normal way of doing things. Time to leave that behind.. in the past!

So how about standing together?

After all, WE are the 99%ers in this equation! Surely things could/should be better for those involved in a movement of this nature? In fact, nature shows us in many different ways that sticking together is the best and sometimes only way to stay in the game! Imagine if Ants all lived separate lives, you'd probably never even see one! We doubt many people would like to put their hand into an Ant's nest though!

STFU Records is moving with the times, we would like to take you with us! Representing our family is letting the world know you are moving together as one entity, with a label that has clear focus and direct intention toward. Progress for as many of us as possible!

For us, the future is all about creating a family and being actively involved with a community of people who just like us want the chance to progress. For that to happen we need to move as one with the same goals in mind. With music being our common bond and our combined desire for movement within our community. Who knows what may come of it? It really isn't about the whole world being involved, just a community of like minded individuals getting together to 'concentrate' our efforts.

We're not trying to distance ourselves from anything here, we're just attempting to bring together those who are lucky enough to see things the way we do. 

It's about recognition, understanding and reaction to an unseen but real factor of being involved in music.

We are proud to say we are' ravers for life' and feel we represent the majority of people trying to be involved the dance music scene. We're not driven by life changing DJ wages, nor the desire for 'more money' we do this because we are in it!

Our aim is to create a tribe of like minded people who are all aware that if we don't do it ourselves it probably isn't going to get done!

Our door is open to anyone who is 'open' to the prospect of'progress without the need for 'elitist' backing.  A place where those willing will have the chance to create movement for themselves via a more 'personal' network.

Our music policy for label releases is uptempo Liquid and Jungle DnB and Breaks.

Due to our new policies and a new website, we are now able to offer "shop only releases" to anyone in our "family" whose music is executed well enough to be projected but not within the label's official catchment zone.
